Het Wijkpaleis is a warm, welcoming and family-friendly community gathering place in Delfshaven, just 3 short tram stops from Rotterdam Centraal.
Come and join them on Wednesdays and Saturdays for a cup of tea and a cupcake. There’s a wonderful play area to keep the kids occupied, and you can keep your hands busy by stitching up a panel of their community embroidery project or bringing your own handicrafts to work on.
We’re very excited that in 2016, het Wijkpaleis is the home of Rotterdam Parents community events. We’ll be hosting our Taal Cafes (Dutch language conversation practice), our Mama Cafes (a chance to connect with other internationally minded parents) and our Creators Cafes (a chance to learn, teach or explore a new handicraft).
There’s a reason we chose this venue for our Rotterdam Parents Cafe events. It’s just so incredibly lovely and friendly. Caro (who runs the place) is so lovely, warm and welcoming. The kids corner is perfect and the Wijkpaleis itself is cozy and comfortable.
