This playground is right behind my house so I go there a lot. It’s a great playground, with lots of different equipment for children of different age ranges. My main annoyances are that they are only open from 12 – 4 in the weekends (11-7 on weekdays) which is exactly when my youngest son sleeps. Another is that there are more and more weeds growing on the left side and nothing’s being done about it. For the rest, it’s a really great playground, lots of places for adults to sit and observe their kids or chat with each other and enough things to do for young children.
I visited this playground with my 2 children, although my youngest was asleep in the bakfiets. Although bikes are not allowed in the playground, they were happy for me to bring it in and park next to a bench so I didn’t have to disturb my sleeping child (I have had very different experiences elsewhere).
The playground itself is lovely, with an excellent selection of equipment suitable for a wide variety of ages. It was clean and well maintained, all in all a great playground.
